"BHSF Silver Plan Experience"
My husband and I have been using the Silver plan from BHSF since April 2022. Claims get reimbursed super fast and without hassle through the online portal. Up to now, this plan has really helped us save a bunch of cash and made it easier to manage expenses for essentials like dental and eye care. We’re totally planning to renew our plan come April.

"Claim Process Made Easy"
Filing a claim is super straightforward. You can do it online through the Customer Portal or by filling out a claims form and mailing it in.
When you use the Customer Portal, there are seven steps that walk you through everything. Each step has a clear title, so you know what info you need, plus there are drop-down options where it makes sense. The steps include: Terms of use, Date of receipt, payment or admission, Claimant, Benefit and amount claimed, Upload receipts, Additional information, and Confirm claim.
Once you finish the claims process, you’ll receive an acknowledgment of your claim sent to your registered email, along with contact details if you need assistance.
In my experience, I submitted my claim on a Thursday, and by Monday morning, I had confirmation that it was approved, along with an estimate of when the funds would hit my account.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

This app is super easy to navigate and skips the hassle of submitting proof to BHSF. However, the biggest issue is that you can't go back through the screens to review or change your earlier responses.

"Ensure You Pass Away Before Turning 70"
Hey BHSF members, just a heads up! If you get a call about signing up for a life or funeral insurance policy with BHSF, keep in mind that it runs out when you hit 70, not when you actually pass away. I got caught in this mess and now that I’ve turned 70, I’m still kicking. The policy is no longer valid, which is pretty disgraceful after being a member for 55 years.

BHSF consistently impresses with their efficiency in every interaction I've had. My workplace offers BHSF benefits, and I've submitted claims for dental care and other services several times. Each experience has left me quite impressed with their quickness and customer support. Honestly, I can't find anything to criticize about this company. It's pretty uncommon these days to come across a business that performs this well. Much appreciated!

"Terrible service, I filed a claim for..."
Absolutely terrible service! I put in a claim for fifty pounds via the portal back in April 22 and didn’t hear a peep from them. I sent the same claim again in June, and still nothing. On both occasions, I got a confirmation that they received my claims, which came to my email. I submitted a dental receipt for the cost, and today I decided to call customer service. They told me they had emailed my wife to say that the dental receipt wasn’t good enough! Not to my email, the one linked to my account! The guy then mentioned that the time to make the claim had run out. I’ve been paying into this scheme for over 10 years, totaling more than £2000. Seriously, don’t bother with BHSF; it’s just a waste of cash. Terry Moore

As always, I got a speedy reply, but the claim I put in was for £56, and I only got £28 back. I was hoping for a payout that was nearer to what I claimed.
